Supply + Support + Repair + Upgrade
You can bring your machine into us and we can work on it in our workshop. This means that you only pay for the time spent working on your machine, not the time spent to scan your system or run tests.
In our workshop
Some computer problems can be fixed without us coming to you and without you coming to us. We understand how much most people rely on their computers and would rather not be without them. We also understand that our customers don't want to pay for a call out charge unnecessarily.
Computer Plus has software that allows us to connect into your machine.
How does a remote call work?
You book a time in with one of our engineers, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. They will call you as close to that time as possible and talk you through what you need to do to enable us to connect into your computer remotely. The engineer will then be able to take control of your machine and see what you see, making it easier for us to help you.
How will I know what they're doing?
You can still see your screen and as you are on the phone to our engineer you can ask any questions. If you have any questions after the remote call, just ask.
Does this mean you can connect into my machine at any time?
NO. Although you download software for us to be able to connect in the software doesn't install on your computer so only runs when you double click on the downloaded file. Once we disconnect we are unable to connect in again until you need us to.
What if the remote call doesn't resolve the issue?
If for any reason we are unable to resolve the issue and we come out to you or you bring the machine to us you will not be charged for the remote call.
So how do I know if my issue can be resolved by a remote call?
Call 01323 430 666 and speak to a member of staff. Talk through your problem with one of our experienced engineers and they will tell you the best way to get your problem resolved.
We can come to you
Our engineers are available to come to you.
We travel to Eastbourne, Polegate, Hailsham, Bexhill, Hastings, Heathfield, Uckfield, Seaford, Newhaven, Brighton and everywhere in between.
We can either collect your machine and take it back to our workshop or repair your machine on site.
Our engineers are experienced and will diagnose the problem for you without spending unnecessary time on site.
If it works out more cost effective for you, our engineer will make the decision to take your machine to our workshop and then bring it back to you when the work is complete.
An example of this is if your machine needs hardware diagnostics run through it. Hardware diagnostics can take anytime between 30 minutes and 10 hours to complete. If our onsite engineer ran them onsite, you would be paying for the engineer to wait for them to finish.
If your machine is brought back to the workshop you are only paying for the time that the engineer is actually working on your machine. We don't have to sit in front of your machine in the workshop waiting for the hardware scans to finish.
